Explore the picturesque Ancient Lakes and Wenatchee Wine Regions, complete with vineyard views, stunning canyon landscapes, green hillsides and bluffs. Visit two beautiful wineries, meet the winemakers, enjoy a gourmet lunch, and explore Pybus Public Market.
The Details:
We all love Eastern Washington and Wine! We've paired the two together in a perfect match with the Ancient Lakes region and Wenatchee area. The Ancient Lakes area is contained within the beautiful Columbia Valley region, and is named after a series of thirty-five lakes that dot the landscape. With over 20 different wine grape varieties planted within this region, you'll have a great selection of fine wines to taste!
Travel over the mountains on a luxury coach (complete with flat screen TVs and a restroom), where you can take in all the beauty that surrounds you in comfort. You'll be delighted by our selection of wineries, complete with a barrel room tour and wine tastings straight from the barrel and cask! Enjoy a tour, tastings, and a gourmet lunch at the beautiful Chateau Faire Le Pont.
After the first stop, we'll visit Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee, where you can experience local and hand-crafted products and foods from the area. (There's also a tasting room for Jones Winery located in the market!)
Last, but certainly not least, we'll visit picturesque Beaumont Cellars and meet with Pete (the owner himself) to walk through his transition from farming to wine-making, learn all about his hand-crafted wines, and why he's won so many gold medals this year alone! Of course, we'll get to taste the winning wines too!
